A Little Way: The Winners!!!

I have just emailed Suzie Andres:
“Off to do the giveaway post. Yes! I will say the prayers once more before we draw the winners…”
The prayers? Suzie emailed me the beautiful prayers to St Therese which she’s been saying for everyone.
Suzie wrote, “I said this novena prayer… specially for the entrants to the giveaway, those dear ladies who left comments. I’ll type it out for you, and say it once more now for Therese to carefully select the winners through your dear hands (or whomever gets that privilege in your house).”
So now it is time…
I am writing the names of all the dear entrants on slips of paper.
We are placing them into a hat.
We say our prayers…
O Little Therese of the Child Jesus
please pick for me a rose from the heavenly gardens
and send it to me as a message of love.
O Little Flower of Jesus
please ask God to grant the favors I now place
with confidence in your hands….
O Little Therese,
help me always to believe as you did in God’s great love for me
so that I may imitate your Little Way each day.
Amen.

Sophie stirs up the pieces of paper…

Gemma-Rose closes her eyes…
and draws out the first winner…
JENNIFER MARTIN
Charlotte draws out the second winner…
CHAREEN.
And Imogen draws out the final winner in our giveaway…
 KAREN.
Congratulations Jennifer Martin, Chareen and Karen!
Thank you to everyone who entered this giveaway. Also, thank you to all the kind bloggers who put a link on their blogs including:
Jessica at Shower of Roses
Mike Aquilina at The Way of the Fathers
And anyone else who may have linked but I don’t know about.
Also, I saw the link in a few ‘shared items’. Thank you!
Jennifer, Chareen and Karen: Could you please contact me with your email addresses and let me know whether you’d like an epub or a Kindle version of A Little Way of Homeschooling.
We are off to the beach tomorrow for a few days. We are leaving my young-men-sons in charge of the house and the three cats. I am sure they will answer the door, empty our mailbox and take phone messages while we are away. However, I don’t suppose I can ask them to reply to my emails or update my blogs… So it might be a few days before I can arrange the ebooks to be sent to the winners. Sorry! But as soon as we return…
When we have swam and built sand-castles and cycled around the lake and canoed and bushwalked and visited the markets and sat by the woodfire (if it rains and is cold) and read a dozen books, I will be back!
PS: An e-version of A Little Way of Homeschooling would make a wonderful Christmas gift. It could be sent anywhere in the world and doesn’t need wrapping!

  1. Congratulations, Chareen, Jennifer and Karen – it's a wonderfully inspiring book!

I love the new look of your blog, Sue. The header looks so lovely:)

  2. Happy Feastday everyone!
Sue, thanks for the lovely pictures that allowed us to follow step-by-step as your dear daughters drew out the winners. So much fun!
Congratulations to Jennifer, Chareen, and Karen!!!

I wish (and intend Therese to fulfill my wish) showers of heavenly roses on all those who entered…May your homes and hearts be filled with peace and grace. May Therese help you to find your own little way of homeschooling – a copy of the book if you don't have one yet, but much more importantly The Little Way God has in mind for your own sweet families.

    With gratitude and love,
    Suzie
