Would You Like to Be My Guest?

WouldYouLiketoBeMy-1

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if I could say, “Come over for coffee!” We’d sit around my kitchen table, sipping and chatting. We’d talk about all kinds of things. We’d share our stories, ponder questions, encourage each other, deepen our friendship.

Maybe, one day, that will happen. But even if we never meet, you can still be my guest.

What if you wrote a guest post for my blog? You could share your thoughts and experiences. You could tell your story.

Would that be good? Your stories might give us more to ponder. They could add interest to my blog. Would guest posting increase the connections between us? Of course, if you have a blog, we’d add a link to it. But you don’t have a to be a blogger to accept my invitation.

Would you read guest posts? Maybe you’d like to write one?

So what sort of posts am I looking for? What would you write about?

I’d love to post stories that are on similar topics to the ones I write about. (You could take a look at my post labels at the foot of this blog to get some ideas.)

Knowing my friends, they’d be full of kindness.

And, although I see many problems with the school system, they wouldn’t be a rant against the education system and teachers in particular. You see, I have a school teacher husband. I wouldn’t choose to send my children to school, but I do respect what Andy and other caring teachers are doing under less-than-ideal conditions. Of course, talking about your own children’s experiences with school even if negative, is quite okay.

So what do you think? Will you be my guest? If you’re interested, please leave a comment, or send me a message on Facebook.

The above blog post picture is of Auntie Jenny’s kitchen. It was drawn by my daughter Charlotte and can be found in my new children’s novel The Angels of Gum Tree Road. The Kindle version has coloured illustrations when viewed on a Kindle Fire, iPod, iPad or Android phone or tablet!

I'm so glad you'd like to read some guests posts. I have a few willing writers. Maybe my girls will write something for me too. Thank you for your feedback!
