Unschooling Imposters and Difficult Days

After a few quiet weeks – life has been busy – I’m back with a new podcast, episode 97. It’s called Unschooling Imposters and Difficult Days, but I could have called it Our Weight Loss Adventure!

Here’s the podcast summary:

This week, I answer the following questions:

  • Why did I feel like an unschooling imposter?
  • Why is unschooling the perfect way of life even though life isn’t perfect?
  • Why should we stop and reassess what we’re doing every now and then?
  • What does Gemma-Rose’s (13) day look like?
  • What is Sophie (16) doing at the moment?

I also talk about

  • our weight loss adventure
  • and my recent activity with my blog and Youtube channel

I hope you’ll listen!

Have you been to a wedding recently? And do you have any favourite websites for healthy food recipes? Please share if you do!

  1. I enjoyed listening to this podcast, Sue. It was good to hear your enthusiasm – that’s always very inspiring . You are so good at picking up and getting excited, again, after life’s challenges. Lots of hugs xxx

    • Vicky,

It’s strange how when we’re having a crisis, we think we’ll never feel excited about anything ever again. The world seems grey and we have no energy or interest for anything other than the problem. But our enthusiasm does return which is just as well! Thank you so much for listening. I appreciate your comment and the hugs! xxx

  2. Loved it Sue! Always keeping us going in the right direction. We have been struggling with our treadmill a bit. I think we have bronchitis. It’s great to hear how you handle changes in schedule and make the tricky times work out.

    • Venisa,

I was sorry to hear you’ve been unwell. I hope you’re all feeling much better. Yes, it’s hard to exercise when we’re not feeling our best. Did you take a look at iFit or try out any of the other virtual run apps? Maybe you’ll get more use out of your treadmill when winter comes. We’re enjoying running inside instead of out in the cold wind!

We’re still working on finding a new rhythm to our days. I can’t seem to find a good time to record my podcasts. I’ll keep thinking about it!

      Enjoy the weekend!

  3. Today I listened to you podcast on my little android device that I bought for homeschool record keeping. It was lovely to have you beside me as I threaded my loom 🙂
Great podcast, lots of interesting listening material, thank you!
